We love being able to provide good food to this community. As the pandemic continues and we still have inventory and wholesale accounts in place, we have the ability to store and deliver groceries to those who cannot leave their houses and those who don’t feel comfortable going to large stores. There’s also a lot of great local food producers who have lost restaurant customers and need to rethink distribution networks. We could come out of this with a better appreciation of the people who grow, prepare and deliver our food every step along the way.
We plan on delivering as far as Cherry hill, Pleasantville, Fancy’s lake, Crousetown and Riverport and Lunenburg. If you live outside of that radius, call us at 902-521-3571 to arrange safe pick-up. Also Be aware that due to a high number of orders, your order could arrive between 9:00am-4:30pm
This is how it works:
There is one delivery day: Friday
Order by Thursday at 5:00pm for Friday delivery.
There will be a flat $5.00 delivery fee.
Methods of payment:
E-transfer: to firstname.lastname@example.org when you place your order.
Debit or Credit: Pay at home during delivery on our mobile processing machine.
Cash: Leave the correct cash at your house. If you need change, send a note with your order and we’ll see what we can do.
If you can’t afford for your order, call and we can talk about alternative payment options.
If you can afford a little extra, donate to Feed Nova Scotia where the need for funds and volunteers is especially great right now.
Our Safety procedures:
Goods are delivered to us outside and unpacked and sorted by staff who are healthy and have washed hands. Shelves and storage areas are cleaned and sanitized. Then boxes and paper grocery bags are prepared and loaded into the delivery van. The delivery driver is equipped with 70% alcohol-based surface wipes and will go from house to house within a 20km radius of West Dublin. Hands and steering wheel get sanitized between deliveries. The processing machine will be wiped down before and after every payment. As a precaution, it is recommended to wash your hands before and after you receive your groceries.
Our bakery will continue to follow healthy sanitation practices, while taking extra precautions to sanitize all surfaces. One baker will be working at a time.
We look forward to window waves when we drop off your groceries!
Our inventory may fluctuate as we adjust and prepare for the oncoming weeks. Bear with us and we’ll get through this together!
